A few weeks ago, Rob and I had the privilege of traveling to China to visit some friends who are living in the city of Hangzhou, as English teachers. Rob had been before, several years ago, but it was my first trip. I was a little uneasy to be traveling to a city of 7 million people, because I don’t even do well with the crowds during Christmas shopping season. However, God must have put his peace upon me because I felt at ease the entire time. We stayed at a hotel just across the street from the famous West Lake…totally overrun by people in the evening, but gorgeous and quiet in the early morning. The people were incredibly nice, and the food was amazing.
